Dear Sir/Madam
I am writing this letter to express my strong dissatisfaction and disappointment about the quality of service and food I received at your restaurant on the evening of May 24.
The waitress who attended my table was somewhat slow -I had to wait nearly 20 minuts to have my order taken. Moreover, the dish we were brought was not hot enough and its preparation appeared careless. To my disgust, I found a hair in my soup! I complained about it to the waitress, however, her response was not very polite. As a regular visitor to Sinus Restaurant, I got accustomed to the high standards of the place. On the evening mentioned, I came to your restaurant with the woman to whom I wanted to propose. I promised her an unforgettable dinner, therefore I felt embarassed about the behaviour of the waitress and the quality of food.
I would suggest that you speak to the waitress concerned and draw her attention to the fact that well-mannered staff is distinctive of high-quality restaurant, while impolite waitresses spoil the reputation of the place.
I expect an apology for the behaviour of the waitress and hope you will consider my comments.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely
Alexander Blake
