The first day of November is All Saints Day. There are many things to do before this day. In Poland people usually travel to the places, where their relatives are burried. They go to the cementary and clean the graves. Moreover, thay decorate the graves with candles and bunches of flowers. The best flowers for it are chrysanthemums. On the All Saints Day, all families gather on the cementeries. They pray and attend a mass together. The mass is celebrated for the salvation of the dead. They bring flowers and candles and lay them on the graves of the relatives. This is time to think about those, who are no longer with us. It is quite sad usually. After the mass, people meet their families in their houses. They eat a meal together and talk about those, who died.
In my opinion, All Saints Day is a nice day. Sometimes it is very sad, but it it nice as well. We can remind our beloved and meet the relatives. This day always reminds me, that I have to appeciate life. It is difficult to understand that people have to die, but I think our relatives always live in our memory and our hearts.
