I still remember the day which was the happiest day of my life. It was couple years ago. Once I went to visit my grandfather who lives in France. I went there by coach, but the journey was very long, so I decided not to travel to France by coach any more. So when I wanted to visit my grandfather once more I had to book the railway ticket.
It was May 2002 and when I finally woke up, everybody at home was very busy and in hurry. I was tired because our neighbours had a party last night. I had to ring to the railway station and book the railway ticket. The lady in the ticket office seemed to be very nice and she booked the seat in the train at five o'clock. Then my telephone rang. It was Derek, who is one of my best friends. He comes from England. He invited me for a dinner. So I had to pack all my clothes immediately to have the free afternoon to meet with Derek in downtown. Before I met with him in the city centre I had to bay some Polish souvenirs for my grandfather. I went to the souvenir shop in the city centre and I bought some beautiful souvenirs. It took about two hours to buy everything I wanted. While I was doing shopping I met Derek by accident. We decided to go to one of the numerous pizzerias. We found a very nice place, where the service was excellent. The pizza was huge and delicious. While we were eating we were talking about many things. My English is quite well so we didn't have any problems in communication. We had nice and long chat. I almost forgot that I had to go to France. When I looked at my watch I realized that I had ten minutes to get the bus. However, the bus station was far away form the pace where we were. I had to run as quick as I could. But when we reached the bus station, it was too late. The bus had already gone! We were completely exhausted. The next bus was in an hour. We had to go somewhere. When we were walking to a coffee shop, we saw a pet shop. I decided to buy a couple of beautiful budgies for my mother. I was so excited! The budgies weren't expensive and my other always dreamt about having the birds at home. I was happy, when I was on time on the bus stop and the bus hadn't left without me. The bus was very crowded. There weren't any free seats for me inside. When I looked through the window I saw Derek. He was standing alone and waving to me. In the bus I saw some beautiful girls and I realized that they were top models. I saw one of them in one of the illustrated magazine. I decided to ask her to give me her phone number. She agreed. When I came back home I called her. I really wanted to have a date with her, but that afternoon in had to go to France. I was very upset when I get in the train, because I thought I wouldn't meet her any more. But my mood changed when I got off the train in France. I saw my grandfather waiting for me. When we reached his house I saw my grandfather's new neighbour. She looked like this girl from the bus! I called her name and it was true. That was her! She turned around and smiled at me. I was so excited!
I visit my grandfather as often as it is possible. This year I'm going to invite her to Poland. She is my beloved girlfriend and I really hope so she will become my wife in the future.
