Croatia was always my dream. Last year I managed to spent there my holiday. It was almost like a dream. I went there with my friends. One of them had driving licence so we went by car. We rented rooms in a big hotel with swimming - pool and casino. Normaly it would be impossible for us to stay in that kind of hotel but we all worked last summer and saved all the money for this holiday. Everything was just perfect: it was hot, water was clean and warm and the beaches were sandy. We acted like real turists, we were sunbathing and drinking cold sodas. But of course we also visited a lot of interesting places. We have seen all historical towns like Dubrownik or Split. They are incredible remnants of history. Most of them were built in middle ages and they survived till now. It is astonishing that the buildings can be so small. It was really remarkable view. We have seen countless number of old churches and castels, museums. However, the most exciting for us was a cruise round the island called KRK. It is something unforgettable when in front of you there is nothing else but sea full of fish and behind your back you can see high mountains.
We loved everything about Croatia: the weather, the towns, the food and the people. We tried as much different courses as possible. I think that Croatian cuisine is very healthy mostly because of seafood. I wish we could have the same things in Poland. We also met there a lot of people in our age. When we went on disco everybody were very friendly and outgoing. They didn't care if we were from other country although they seemed to have less money.
Our holiday in Croatia lasted about a month but I have never been bored even for a moment. This was vacation of my life. I have met wonderful people with whom I am still emailing. I have invited them all to Poland but unfortunately they haven't got enough money to come and visit our country. I wish I could come back there and have as wonderful vacation as I had last time.
