When I was a child I dreamt, as most of little boys do, about becoming a fireman, a soldier or a policeman when I grew up. Together with my friends, we often played "thieves and policemen"; some of us pretended to be thieves or robbers and others pretended to be policemen chasing the criminals. Those were really enjoyable and cheerful days.

As I started to grow up, my dreams started to change. When I was about ten years old I decided that I wanted to be a politician, preferably the president of the country. But by the time I finished primary school, I again changed my mind and wanted to be a famous sportsman but I gave up that dream as well. For the last few years I have been dreaming about working with computers. My first step towards making that wish come true was to start studying computer science at the university. In the course of my studies I have developed interest in specific areas of computer technology and today it is clearer for me what exactly I would like to do after graduating from the university. I have decided to be a network manager. It is a very responsible and demanding job as proper functioning of the whole computer network in a company would depend on me. This kind of work gives an opportunity of constant development as the computer market changes very quickly and new technologies appear all the time. To keep up to all the technological news, I read specialist magazines which provide me with all the necessary information concerning the computer technology. I realize that, working as a network manager, I would have to spend a lot of time in the office, in front of the computer screen but I think that I would never become bored of the job. As my graduation from the university is approaching, I am closer to making my wish come true and to do what I am the best at and what I really like.
