United States of America is a dream for many people all over the world. It is one of the wealthiest country in the world. The oportunities of finding job are much better there. People belive that you can find money on the streets. There are a lot of moniuments or rather icons of freedom, wealth and fame: the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Beverly Hills. There are also some nature wonders like Grand Canyon or Niagara Falls. But is it really country of happiness?
I used to think the same way until I decided to go there. I went to USA for my vacation to work there and travel. I thought that I will earn a lot of money, I will meet some famous people and I will be treated well because there are so many emigrants in the USA and it is the only country without the racism and discrimination. I was wrong. First of all, it is not true that you can find money on the streets, you need to work very hard to earn dollars. It is true that there is a lot of opportunities to get job but after you will get it you need to work very hard because it is also very easy to be fired. Moreover, there are good jobs but mostly for Americans and the rest of jobs like cleaning, housekeeping, baby sitting are reserved for emigrants, and it was not my dream to be a housekeeper. It is good to go there and see that amazing cities and architecture but I wouldn't like to stay there.
Furthermore it is said that there is no racism and no discrimination. I must disagree on this point. Unfortunately both of this things are very big problem. It is impossible to stop discrimination when there are so many different people coming. I think that this is something in people's nature to be mean for somebody who is different. On the other hand I think that racism is caused mostly by black inhabitabts of America. Thanks to their colour of the skin they fill protected by the country and they have got many rights which make them not equal with white people and that causes arguments with white who also fill discriminated. However, there are many myths of the USA I need to say that the nature and moniuments are breath taking. The cities like New York, Las Vegas, Boston, Washington, are just beautiful. Their magnitude and diversity caused by the inhabitants is amazing and very intersting. And the wonders of nature are one of its kind.
There are a lot of myths and legends about the USA but I think that it is different country. It is easy to live there and there are many opportunities but you need to work very hard. I wish I could go there one more time.
