Every one of us probably has broken a law or a rule, but he wasn't aware of the fact. Then you probably have attempted to protect the opinion about the fact. My family has done it. The whole story started out completely innocent and then it turned into a huge fight, which resulted with our moving out.

It started about two years ago. That was a cold rainy November day. The whole my family lived together in the huge apartment located in South Chicago. It was nearby the Midway Airport. It seemed that everything was quite fine until my aunt and uncle divorced. Then our lives changed and everything was almost turned upside down. My family accused my uncle about everything. He was depressed and he really needed the help. What is more, he needed the place where he could live until he found a new apartment. My partners after many discussions decided to allow my uncle to stay in our house. We weren't aware that it would be against the rules of our landlord.

My uncle Jay lived with us for over a week and then our landlord began to suspect that we had a subtenant. He even started to spy on us. It was strange! The landlord was sure that someone was living with us, when my uncle's bill of mobile phone was put into our mailbox. Our landlord was used to check the mailboxes and he claimed not to remember renting the apartment to someone named Joseph G. He was extremely mad, when he knocked on our flat's door. I opened the door and he looked at me in very angry way. The landlord demanded: "I want to talk to your parents". I asked him very polite to wait and I told my mother that he had come. She was surprised and asked him directly: "Are there any problems? What are you looking for here?". He was very angry and asked "Are you living with someone else right now?". He responded the answer. "Yes" answered my mother who always told the truth. "My brother has some problems and he is living with us for a while". Then the landlord was furry. He began yelling that we couldn't have any subtenants and no one was allowed to live with us. The guests weren't also allowed. My mother was angry too and she told him that we paid regularly for the flat and we might invite the guests every time we wanted. The landlord was mad and told her that we weren't the owner of that flat so we had to follow all his rules and when we hadn't followed the rules, we would have to move out. That day our landlord became the evil. My mother was tough and told him: "Well, I think we leave and move out as soon as possible". My mother showed him that she was pride to stand his screaming. The landlord answered: "Fine" and slowly went down to his flat.

Then my mother tried to calm down, but it was difficult, because she was very mad at the cruel landlord. Later my parents and my uncle were talking about the whole situation. They decided to look for a new apartment. Uncle Jay told that he would look for his own flat. My parents were very angry at the landlord and his rude behaviour. They wanted to do something to spite him. So we didn't clean the flat and we decided to move out without telling him anything. I was also angry, disappointed and mad. We were too proud to let the whole situation go. We started looking for the flat more intensively. After two weeks of looking for, we managed to find a beautiful house near the Franklin Park. Of course, we didn't tidy up the flat and didn't inform the landlord that we were going to leave.

To sum up the whole story, I think that after the fight with the cruel landlord and our moving out we showed everyone how proud we are. I also think no one of us shouldn't give up in every matter we are right. We can't let some things go too easily. The most important thing is to fight for your rights. Don't give up so easily. I think that you will probably do the dame if you were me. I hope you understand my opinion and you agree with it.
