Writing letters is a past. I think that every year there is less and less people who write letters by hand. Nowadays the world has changed. It goes too fast. We don't have time to write a letter and to post it. There are other solutions. The e - mail is a child of the hand - written mail. You don't need to use a post office to communicate with somebody. Today we use the internet when we want not only send a mail but also if we want to chat or talk with somebody. Istead of writing on a paper you use the computer to write a letter. You don't need to go anywhere and you don't have to pay for stamps. You just need to click one key to send your message. If you prefer to talk you can talk through the internet. It is very popular especially among teenagers and young people. So called chatting. You write with another person at the same time. You can answer her sentences by writing them and pressing ENTER. If you don't like writing on a keyboard you can always call somebody through the internet. The only things you need are the headphones and the microphone. In my opinion although reciving letters is very nice it is already past as there are so many other possibilities of communicating. On the other hand I always send a hand written letter for special occasiones. I think it is very elegant and nothing ever will repleace it. It is very comfortable to use the internet but it will never be better than a paper letter or book or newspaper.
