Easter is the most important religious holyday in Poland. The death of Jesus is celebrated. This days fall in March or April every year. It is a spring and the nature is awaking.
Before Easter we prepare a very special dishes. For whom who love eggs it is a great opportunity to eat so many eggs as they can. Eggs are painted. Painting eggs is a favourite activity of children. They love doing this! Before Easter we aren't able to eat any meat! It seems to be horrible, but it is a very old tradition. On the second day of Easter there is so called "Wet Monday". All children enjoy splashing everyone around with water and there is a lot of fun. Easter is the time we visit our friends and relatives at Easter. It's a chance to meet and spend some time with the whole family.
In my opinion, Easter belong to the most pleasant time during the year!
