In Britain someone who supplies drugs of A class can be sentenced to the life imprisonment. To drugs of A class belong these the most harmful such as heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and LSD. Life imprisonment is the strictest kind of punishment in Britain. The situation in Poland is completely different. Poland seems to be the paradise for all kinds of drug dealers. In Poland drug trafficker can be sentenced up to six months in prison. Unfortunately, Polish law isn't strict enough.
Drugs can be bought almost everywhere: in clubs, pubs and everywhere where young people are used to gather. Drug traffickers sells the youth a "joyful adventure" and unforgettable impressions, but in fact they sell the addiction, which may lead to the death. Many teenagers decide to try drug just for fun or to relax a little bit. Then they become addicted and they cope with the addiction. Drugs seem to be the best escape for them and the solution to every daily problem. Most of these teenagers aren't aware how harmful consequences the drug can bring.
Some people are addicted to marihuana, which can make you feel so comfortable and relaxed, that you feel free of everything. Most people start to giggle and all complexes are gone. But marihuana has very negative effect on human internal organs. It damages lungs and human DNA. When the effect of marihuana is gone, the smoker usually became dejected. More harmful drugs such as amphetamine may lead to serious diseases, depression or even to death. To the other consequences of drug taking belong also: hallucinations, unbalanced emotions and internal organs disorders. Drugs may infect the blood or cause sores and serious diseases such as AIDS.
The drug addiction belongs the biggest problems of the society of the 21st century. The most exposed to become addicted are young people. Drugs are more harmful than cigarettes and alcohol. And the addiction to the drugs is also much more troublesome. The young people soon become completely dependent on this deadly habit. Hoping to find the goals of their life and pleasure they decide to take drugs and then they aren't able to notice how speedily they became addicted. Due to drugs harmful consequences, drugs supplying should be strictly punished.
