The film "Being John Malkovich" directed by Spike Jonze is a kind of "Dark Comedy".Main character, Craig (John Cusack) is a puppeter showing some perverse and full of sexual overtones shows on streets of New York. He is in an unhappy marriage with Lotte (Cameron Diaz), who works in zoological shop. Their Financial problems forces Craig to start some new permanent job.
From this moment there are only more and more bizzare moments in film.On first day of new work he become aware of unusuality of place that he is working in, that is floor 7 ½. He meets one of his co-worker - Maxine, in which he fall in love at first sight, unfortunately without repay. One day in work he finds the secret portal leading to John Malkovich's consciousness. He tels Maxine about it and they together use the portal for their own selfish purposes, selling fifteen minutes in Malkovich for 200$. After few visits, Craig as a talented puppeter starts to lern how to control Malkovich, who meanwhile has no idea what is going on. When he finaly gets wise of what is going he enters his own mind which is realy funny.
Though John Cusack and Cameron Diaz are really good in their roles, it is John Malkovich who did the show. He made performance of a lifetime and also should be applauded for accepting the role (especialy scene in his mind or ballet scene).
This is a film that everybody should make an effort to see.
