In my opinion, by drug legalizing the illegal industry will be stopped. The quality of drugs will be controlled by some institutions. So if you decide to take a drug you will be sure that it doesn't contain any other harmful substances, which are often used to "improve" the drug by drug dealers in illegal traffic. On the other hand, I think that people, especially young people, should be made aware of the fact that drug taking can cause the addiction or some serious diseases. However if someone decides to try it, he will buy it in the illegal traffic. Today drugs seem to be so available that everyone can get it.
It is said that some drugs (for example marihuana) are as unhealthy as the alcohol or cigarettes. What is more, sometimes they are used as a medicine. So if alcohol and cigarettes are harmful, but everyone can buy it in a shop, why can't we buy in legal way some marihuana, which is less harmful? In Holland smoking marihuana is legalized. Everyone is allowed to have some on him for his personal use and no one is shocked.
