Nowadays we have got lots of museums and art galleries they provide co colea "high culture". But do we realy need them ?
It is true that art, culture and history are very important in our life these are things which differenciate us, people from animals. Museums also have big influence on education and sense of selfconsciousness.
However, in the opinion of many people Museums are simply the waste of money and urban space. It is generaly true that most people do not go to museums or art galleries because they are not interested in it, do not have money, time or have another excuse. It is also very expensive to mainatain museuns, even though tickets are expensive it is not enough and the government must support institutions like this.
In my opinion museums are waste of money because there are no a lot people interested in visiting them and there are not enough money to cover expenses. Museums should be made more interesting for inhabitants or closed.
