Crime was a big social problem for ages, but today criminals seem to be more insolent and aggressive then they were earlier. What is more, they seem to act with impunity. Nowadays it is nothing usual that someone was robbed in the middle of the day. Often witnesses of the crime remain silent or pretend that nothing has happened, because they are worried about their own life and health.
Moreover, the number of crimes in which the arms is involved is still increasing. It is easy to buy guns in illegal way. Strong and muscled men with guns are the terror and they don't move back from anything.
The other problem is kidnapping. For criminals it is an easy way to scrounge a huge sum of money off wealthy people. This dishonourable crime becomes more and more popular in the criminal world.
Today the number of stolen cars is still growing and it doesn't result from the fact that they aren't protected properly. On the contrary, cars are protected, but the thieves resort to more insolent methods.
The problem of the crime can be solved by transferring more funds to train the policemen. Their earnings should be also higher to avoid the bribery among policemen. What is more, the city centres should be better protected and permanently recorded to deter potential criminals from thefts and robbery. Punishment should be stricter, even if the crime is less significant.
