In Polish tradition people celebrate Christmas Eve on the 24th of December. We are used to send Christmas cards to our friends and family. This year I sent many of them. My family concerns Christmas Eve especially important. My parents, my younger sister and I meet in the evening at the table. We decorate the Christmas tree with glass balls, candies, toys and colorful lights. The tree is really beautiful. For supper we eat many dishes but no meat. My mom usually makes mushroom soup, fried fish, sour cabbage with mushrooms and pea and many others. After the meal we sing Christmas carols and give each other presents. There is a special mess celebrated at midnight. All my family goes to the church then. The next day- 25th December we usually visit my grandparents. We eat a lot and talk. I like Christmas time a lot.
