Driving license is the document, which most people on the world have or want to have. Young people want to have it as soon as possible. It happens that getting the driving license is more important than graduating from the school or getting the IC. However, it is not at all easy to get this license. Before anyone is authorized as a driver, he has to finish special courses, pass the exam in the Highway Code and the practical exam, which consists of maneuvers and driving in the city.
Usually, the courses preparing to driving exams last 3 months. On such courses, all students are required to attend classes, where theory of driving is discussed. These lectures take 15 to 20 hours. The teacher is obliged to discuss as many cases, as possible, considering the Highway Code and many difficult situations that may happen on the roads. Of course, there are practical lessons too. Many students consider it especially pleasurable. Each one has to take at least 30 hours of driving. The teacher has to enable each student to drive in different time of the day and in different weather conditions. It is time to get to know most important skills and learn how to drive as carefully as possible. When the course is completed, the student is allowed to take the exam organized by state commission. The practical exams are very difficult and many people have to try passing it several times. When you are successful and pass the exam, you have to wait 3-4 weeks until you receive the driving license.
It is important to remind, that nowadays, driving became very dangerous. No course is really able to prepare the driver to deal with different situations on the roads. Everyday life brings situations, which are difficult to imagine.
Many employers are interested if someone applying for the job has the driving license. If you have one, you have better chance to get good job. It makes you more attractive for the potential employer.
In general, having a driving license is a good thing. Nevertheless, there are many people, whom this document enables killing others. They are so stupid and not careful enough, that they cause many crashes, in which hundreds of people die.
