I live in Cracow and I have to say that I love this city. I come from a small town and I came to Crocow to study there. At the beginning I had a lot of troubles with getting used to the big city. I hated the traffic and the noise. I couldn't get used to the streets and buildings. I was upset because I had to use the trams and buses. But after some time everything changed.
I got used to the traffic and to the streets. I know the map of Cracow and I can move quickly from one part of the city to another. I like the biuldings and now I can see how much parks are here in Cracow. It is the most green city I had ever seen. It is great that you walk through the center of the city through little forest. There is also river - Vistula - where you can sunbath, walk, ride a bike and roller blade. It is amazing that there are so many green parts. You can go for a walk on the Kościuszko mound and to the zoo. Cracow is very beautiful during the summer time.
My favourite part of the city is Kazimierz. It is a district of the Cracow which in middle ages used to belong to Jewes. Later during the second world war they were resettled by the German soldiers to another district - Podgórze. Nowadays there are not many Jewes left in Cracow. But their beautiful tenement houses, synagogues and cemeterys are left and they are the great moniuments and remnants of history. Moreover it is a district famous of pubs and cafes. There are always many people and there is always something interesting going on.
I love Cracow and Kazimierz. I think this is great city, full of history, moniuments, people, students and turists. There is nothing strange that this is a cultural capital of Poland.
