People keep animals in zoos so as to give the others the opportunity to get to know different species and have some fun. In many zoos animals have similar conditions to those of their natural environment. The animals are captured and transported from their true 'homes' to the new and unnatural ones. In the zoos animals are provided with proper food and care of the doctors and other workers. However, they cannot be happy, because they lack the most important thing- freedom. Many animals are put into small cages. They can not even move. But they are supposed to provide entertainment for the visitors. It is obvious that they miss their real and free lives.
I think that we should let all animals live free and peacefully. I understand that some species are in danger of extinction and keeping them in a zoo may help them survive. But we have to remember that we ourselves cause the death of these animals, because we pollute the environment and deprive animals of their natural territories. And that is why they have to live so lonely and sad lives in the zoos.
