Shimmering Lake

Hello Andy
I hope you're ok and you're planning your holidays now. Have you decided where to go and what to do yet?
My holidays started last Friday, me and my girlfriend, Amy, are staying at my friend's summer house, on the lakeside. My friend has gone to Spain for all summer and allowed me to use her house as long as I want to. The place is beautiful and very peaceful, the weather is fantastic-it's sunny and hot every day so I think we'll stay here for at least one more week. Me and Amy are sunbathing a lot, swimming in the lake (also in a boat), going cycling in the nearby forest, playing badminton, walking on the lakeside and reading a lot of books. And we met a nice couple who is staying in a nearby cottage-we're going to a pub together tonight and for a trip to a town on the other side of the lake tomorrow. I'm really having a great time!
