The article outlines the situation in the Israeli government troubled by the disagreements. The main source of the disagreements are the leading parties' opposing viewpoints on the issue of the Palestinian problem. Although it seems to be Israeli internal problem, in fact the US is also involved in it. One of the US main concerns is the struggle for the control over energy supplies and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is related to it. The Arabian countries treat Israel as an enemy because the country still possess some lands which used to belong to them. They display the same hostility towards the United States, which back up the Israelis. It may be presumed that but for the American support for Israel, the war in Afghanistan would have not broken out.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is not an easy one to be solved. The Israeli government is not willing to end the war and resolve the conflict since this would mean giving up its expansionist politics.
