St Maurice, France

Dear Monika
I'm spending my holidays in St. Murice, a small but charming village in France. The village is situated about 100 km from Paris and I'm staying at my aunt's. I arrived here last Thursday and I'm coming back home at the beginning of August.
The weather is excellent-it's very hot and sunny and yesterday my cousin took me to the lake. We spent there all day, swimming in the lake and sunbathing. Now I have a nice suntan.
Last weekend, we all went to Paris on a sightseeing trip. I climbed up the Eiffel Tower and was amazed by the wonderful panorama of the city that I could see from the top of the Tower. I also visited Luwr and some other famous places. Next weekend, my cousin and me are going to Disneyland. I'm really looking forward to it- we'll have great time there for sure!
I like French cuisine very much. It's delicious and very healthy. Can you belive that I ate snails? But I really did and they were quite tasty.
I've already made some new friends-most of my new acquaintances are my cousin's friends. They are very nice and sociable people and we often go out togehter in the evenings. Yesterday evening we went to the disco and i really enjoyed myself. The French can dance very well. But I noticed that they can't speak English well.
That's all from me now. I wish you were here with me, I'm sure you would like the country.
