I live in a spacious flat on the third floor of a ten-floored block of flats. My room is rather small but I think that very comfortable. There are two windows in my room; one is overlooking a park, the other leads to a small balcony which I share with my sister. Thanks to the window my room is very bright since a lot of sunlight can get into it. There are light blue curtains with stars in the windows.

The walls of my room are blue and so is the ceiling on which stars and all planets are painted. Thanks to them, my room resembles the outer space. On the walls there hung some photos of my friends and also posters of my favourite football team and of some pop stars.

When you enter my room, you will see a large desk just opposite the door. There is my computer, a lamp and some notebooks on the desk. Above it, there are three shelves on which there are my textbooks. On the left, there is my bed, usually covered with pink fluffy blanket. There also lie my old teddy bear and three small pillows on the bed. Next to the bed there is a brown wooden chest of drawers and a large wardrobe which contains my all clothes. Opposite to bed, there is a long coffee table and two armchairs. There is a TV set on a small table in the corner of the room. Next to it there is a bookcase containing the whole collection of my books. There is a light blue carpet on the wooden floor.

Although it is not big and its décor is rather ordinary I like my room because it is my own and I can always hide in there when I need some peace and want to be on my own.

I've always wanted to have my own room. I used to share one room with my older sister Marta, but we were still fighting with each other. For example when she wanted to study I was fancy to listen music. Our parents couldn't stand it and decided that we ought to have our own rooms otherwise we will hurt each other. Of course I got smaller room because I'm younger. I was really angry about it and couldn't understand it. I got used to it because I knew that it's temporary situation. My sister in two years was purpose to leave home for studying and of course she did. She is studying at Economic Academy in Wroclaw. Of course I took advantage with this fact and I exchanged my room for my sister's room. It's the most important place for me in my house. I have a lot happy and sad memories of time spent there: birthday parties, preparing to exams at night. When I return home I always take a rest there. I spend most of the time in my room. I have there everything what I need: computer, TV, cd and tape recorder.

So what does this special room look like? It's quite big. In the corner I have big white wardrobe and bookcase. In the bookcase there are a lot of books. On the left there is a computer table and TV. Next to the window there is my bed, which looks pretty nice especially when it's clean. The window is very big and that` s why my room is very bright. There is a desk next to the bed, which is very often untidy, because I usually don't have much time to clean it. Photos of my friends and me hang on the wall- when I'm sad I always look at them and I recall time spent together. Generally, I think that my room is the best room in the world especially when it` s clean, but even when it's dirty I like to spend time there.
