I do not feel that I am able to say how the future will look like. I simply cannot be certain about it. Predicting particular things is very hard as well as predicts things that will really happen later. I believe that there are only two things that we can predict: they are death and taxes. So, is there any sense in predicting the future? I have never thought about the events that may happen to me in the year 2030 for example. I am thinking about nearer future, mostly about my education. The school is my mine problem now. I do not try to predict what will happen later. I am thinking what are the chances that my prediction will turn out to be true. I will see in it in some time. However, even if it will not become true, predicting events is very funny and allows the imagination to work.
There are many movies, especially science fiction movies that try to predict the future. Some of them are definitely unrealistic and the futures as they show will never happen. I hope that in the future the people will take more care about the nature. They will stop destroying forests, polluting the atmosphere and killing animals. However, I do not think that it can be done, or that it can be done at 100%. Some changes are impossible to stop and the progress also cannot be stopped easily. We may all end living in cities with no green area on the whole planet. The atmosphere and soil may become polluted to such a level that all natural environments will be destroyed. It is even possible that the atmosphere would become so polluted that there will be no air to breathe. Pollution of water will cause many people to get diseases and the will have to rely on medicaments. There will be too many people and not enough forests to produce oxygen.
There will be positive changes, as the scientists will develop new medicaments and cures. It will be possible to cure cancer, AIDS, heart diseases. However, new diseases may appear that will kill many people. It is possible that we will all live much longer than we do nowadays. I like this idea.
I believe that travelling will be easier and more comfortable. There will be no cars that burn petrol and all roads will be destroyed. Trees and plants will grow in their place. I hope that we will travel in flying vehicles that will float several metres above the ground. The propulsion system will be electrical. Because of that there will be no pollution and no black roads that make the landscape ugly. I also hope that the cities will be built differently - that the architects will make the cities harmonised with nature.
When I am thinking about it now, I rather believe that the future will be dark. The people destroy their planet at such a rate that even if the stop now we will be in troubles soon. The fact that I will live enough to see the effects of it does not make me happy. We must start doing something now or we will see the times when animals will live only in zoos and trees in parks. Our current path of development leads us directly to a catastrophe. There will be many disasters if we do not stop.
