Firstly, I would like to confirm that travelling is today a very poplar activity. Modern people travel a lot not only during their holidays, but also because of many other reasons. Sometimes it is their necessity at work. For these who are businessmen, politicians or journalists the travels are unavoidable.
I think that travelling broadens our general knowledge about modern world. Each journey abroad influences us and enriches us. What is more, we gather a lot of information about different cultures and we get to know how to act in various situations. If we find out new cultures, we are able to compare them with our own habits and customs. Then we can draw some much more intelligent conclusions. Moreover, if we visit the exotic places, we admire the unbelievable nature and its beauty. Thanks to the travels we can improve our communication and language skills. Each trip is for us the chance to admire different and original examples of architecture. We may also try the national cuisine. After the trip abroad often we realise how different are the cultures and the national heritages. We often compare the living conditions of other.
However, there are some disadvantages of travelling. We should be aware that sometimes we may deal with some difficult or unpleasant situations. Some communication problems may appear or we may have difficulties in finding information or the place to spend the night. Sometimes the natives may be unfriendly and don't like the strangers. But I think that we shouldn't lose the heart and we shouldn't resign from the travelling because of these reasons.
