I am very pleased with my holidays, because everything was just as I had planned. In July I worked in a pub as a waitress. It was a hard and unrewarding work, but at least I earned some money for clothes, cinema tickets and similar things. The first two weeks of August I spent at my grandma's place, in Białystok - a town where I was born. We moved when I was fifteen, but I still have many friends who live there. We met every day and went for walks, to pubs, to the cinema or to the disco. We also went to swimming pool, played volleyball and cycled. When it was raining, we were just sitting at home, eating pizza, watching films and talking for hours. The last two weeks of my holidays I spent in Dublin. I went there with my friend Agnieszka whose brother Maciek lives and works there. Dublin is not a very pretty city, on the contrary - it's grey and a bit grim. The weather there is mostly rainy. But there are wonderful parks (I have never seen anything so green as the grass and trees there!) and, what's more important, pubs, where we spent much time. Next summer I would also like to go there - to work in Dublin for about a month, and then visit the western part of Ireland.
