Hello!

Here is your favourite radio program "Fairy tells". Today we are in the cinema, where the movie for children "Lion King" was shown for the first time. I'm waiting when the movie ends to ask children whether they like this movie.

Oh. Here they are! I see the first children who are coming out of the cinema. Let's ask them a few questions.

- Hello! What's your name?

- I'm Kate.

- What do you think about the movie? What do you like the most?

- I like the lion Simba very much. I think he was very brave. Simba lost his father and he felt blamed for his father's death. Then he fought Skaza.

- Great! Thank you. Here is a small present for you. The book entitled "Lion King ".

- Oh. Thank you. I'm happy!

- I see the other children. I will also ask them. Hello! What's your name?

- Jack

- Were you sad when Mufasa had gone? Did you cry?

- No, I didn't. I'm a boy. Boys don't cry! But my sister Eva cried. Ask her!

- Hi Eva. Is that true?

- Yes. Some parts of the movie were quite sad.

- But now you are quite happy. What about the end of the movie? Everything was all right? Right? Please, here is the tape with the movie's soundtrack. I hope you like it. Are here your parents?

- Hmmm. Yes, they should be, but I don't know where they are. Oh now I saw them! They are standing next to the main entrance.

- Let's go and ask your parents a few questions. Good afternoon! I'm from the radio program "Fairy tells". Could you tell us something about the movie?

- Good afternoon! Ok, with pleasure. As you probably see children seem to be delighted. The movie wasn't directed only for children. It is about love, friendship and hate.

- The plot is quite simple: lion Simba, who was the king's son, was born. Everybody was glad except the uncle Skaza...

- ….and he killed Muffasa.

- He thought that after Mufasa's death Skaza will be the king. However Simba grew and he supposed to be the king. Simba's best friend named Nala. One day they ran away together and got to the elephants' cemetery. There they were assaulted by hyenas. Then the old king of the jungle appeared and he fought the hyenas.

- Mummy, could you buy me popcorn?

- Yes, of course. I'm sorry, but I have to go to the bar with my daughter.

- However, the king died when he was saving his son's life. Simba was balmed for his father's death. But it wasn't true. Simba was very afraid of coming back to the village, so decided to run away. He met some new friends: Timon and Pumba. Simba became a very brave, strong and honest lion. After a lot of years he met Nala, who was his friend.

- May I interrupt you?

- Yes, of course!

- Finally, Simba came back to the village, where he was born. The monkey named Rafiki convinced Simba that he wasn't guilty for his father's death. When Simba learnt that it was his uncle who killed the king, he killed him. I think that this story is great. It shows us that good wins.

- Thank you very much that you decided to tell us a lot about the movie.

- Let's listen to the other children how they like the movie.

- Hello! Are you Suzy? Do you like the movie "Lion King"?

- I like it. However, I think it was quite biased story… For some adults it may be very boring.

- Why do you think that?

- Because I think that adults see all the aspects in the different way.

- Ok, thank you. We are aware that adults may think the plot is too simple… But the movie is directed to the children. From radio "Fairy Tells" spoke Marta. Bye!
