Dear Marc!
I'm so happy that you have written. As I have already promised I have to describe what happened at school. As you probably know since a week we have had the new principal. Now we are obliged to wear the stupid uniforms! They are awful and we don't want to wear them. All of them are the same awful pattern and blue colour! Two months ago when there was the old principle we didn't have to wear any uniforms. And now everything changed and we are so angry because of this fact. Since today we used to wear casual clothes and it was good. Nobody told us what to wear! So now we decided to organise a kind of protest. Every one of us will walk barefooted through the school corridors for the next week! We hope that we will achieve our goal and we won't be supposed to wear theses awful uniforms anymore.
We had been debating about the protest for a long time and we couldn't decide what form of protest would be the best. The choice was very difficult, because the protest should be very effective. We had to make up the extraordinary form of protest. We didn't want to play truant, because we would be suspended. We couldn't also neglect our duties. We didn't want to block the entrance to the school. In Poland a lot of people strike, it is a kind of Polish tradition… But some of theses groups lose more than they are able to gain.
I'm very satisfied that we took the right decision. It is a more effective form of protest and in this way we won't harm us. I hope that the principle will notice that we don't want to wear the uniforms.
What do you think about this whole matter? Write as soon as possible.
Love, Anna
