Dear Jane
I'm writing to you because your name is on the list of English students who want to have Polish pen friends.
I'd like to write you something about me and I hope you'll do the same in your letter.
I'm called Ania and I'm 15 years old. I'm in the first grade of secondary school. I started learning English when I was 7. My favourite school subjects are history and biology. I live with my parents in a small town called Wieliczka, near Cracow. The town is famous for its salt mine. My dad works in a bank in Cracow and my mum is a doctor. I have a small, funny dog called Jinx. He often sleeps with me in my bed.
When I have some free time, I like listening to pop music, meeting my friends and playing tennis. I usually go to the cinema with my best friend Kasia on Saturday evenings.
Now you know something about me. I'm looking forward to getting to know what you are like and what hobbies you have. I hope we'll become pen palls.
