This story isn't a masterpiece. It is just a simple story that happened to two men who seemed to have more luck then the reason. It is a kind of continuation of the story described in the last capitol of the handbook called "Enterprise". I know that such a kind of story could really happen. So if you want to hear which thrill you a little bit, read the whole and you won't regret.
Prologue:
That was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and there were no clouds on the clear blue sky... Birds were singing and some of them were flying lazy. Jack and Mark were sitting next to the lake and were talking about something very important. Mark was happy and laughed. They were drinking vodka. Mark said: "Jack, are serious about your plans? It is the first day you ate set free from prison. Are you serious thinking about the next robbery?". Jack answered: "I'm always serious. You must be aware that I have some unpaid debts. I own some mafia bosses, so now I don't have a lot of time. If I didn't pay... Ehhhh…. Probably you are aware what they are going to do to me... Concrete shoes and they will drown me! I will swim like a fish. I need your help. So please let me relay on you. Nobody will help me. You are the best expert I have ever known. So it should be nice and easy... I know by the way you also need some money to pay your ex-wife, don't you?". Mark was a bit angered, but he said: "Yeah, but I have some bad feeling about the whole robbery".
The story:
In the Federal Bank, staff and clients were lying on floor and the alarm was roaring. Mark was in the middle of packing money into the huge bag. He shouted to Jack: "Holy God!!! I knew that something will go wrong!! I knew that!!". He was furious: "Why was I listening to you??!! I was stupid!!". Jack just answered: "Maybe because you need some money or I am much more handsome than you?". Mark was more angered and said: "Ehhhh… Stop joking, please. I don't want to list to you any more!!!! We should escape as soon as possible, before the cops arrive. Let's use one of the cars standing outside the bank and run away!!!"
A couple hours later... 30 miles away from the bank ...
"Jack! Jack! You can drive more slowly. We have run away." said Mark. Jack answered: "Yeah I know… We should turn on the radio. We will know if they are looking for us….". The voice from the radio said: "Two dangerous men who managed to rob the bank are driving the road 21 to Las Vegas. They are escaping in an old black ford. If you have some information about the criminals, please contact the nearest police station. We repeat that all inhabitants of this area should stay in their houses and close the doors. The bandits are armed and dangerous!". Jack turned off the radio. Mark was sad: "It is the end!! They will find us! It's sure!!! It just depends on time...". Jack answered happily: "It isn't sure! Look!". He was pointing at the left canoe by the river. He added: "There is still a chance for us! Let's go!".
Without the second thought they pushed the car into the river and take the canoe. They sat comfortably. Jack asked: "Mark, have you got the map? We must know where we are going to sail…". Mark didn't answer. Jack was angry: "Come on Mark!! Don't tell me you left this map in the car!! It is already a couple meters under the water!!!". Mark answered: "We will use the stars to navigate, ok?". Jack shouted: "Don't be silly! Stars??!! We have the middle of the day!!! Ok let's go!! There's no time left!!".
When they were sailing down the river, Jack said: "Damn! Mark I don't feel well... I hate sailing. I feel sick!!! Please stop for a moment! I need something to drink! It should be good for me.". Mark answered: "Ok, let's stop for a few seconds. We don't have time to waste! Police is looking for us!!".
They stopped and while they were drinking some water, Jack saw an amazing kingfisher. Jack whispered to Mark: "Look! Turn around very slowly! Do you see? There is a kingfisher on the tree. A kingfisher is a very rare bird. Don't disturb it! Let's come back to the canoe.".
When they came back to the canoe and started paddling suddenly Mark yelled: "Jack!! There's a waterfall!!!!". Jack seemed to be afraid, but answered: "We shouldn't give up so quickly!!! Try to paddle harder!!!". Mark was sad and almost cried: "I can't paddle harder!! I do what I can!! We certainly die!!!".
At that moment they heard that someone was shouting from the mainland: "Ahoooj!!!! You two catch the rope and we will rescue you!!!!". It was two fishermen standing by the river bank. Jack caught the rope as they ordered. A few seconds later they were standing by the river bank. They were pleased that these two fishermen had rescued them. "Thank you very much!"-said Mark. One of the brave fishermen answered: "I'm happy that you are alive. But the problem is what we should tell our wives when they asked us what we caught today." But suddenly Jack asked Mark: "Mark, where is the bag?? Have you got it??". The one of fishermen said: "Probably I saw something going down the river in the canoe. Was there something important?". Jack annoyed said: "Only important stuff… Don't be silly..." and here Mark entered his word: "Well, nothing so important... There was nothing... There were only our passports. Jack, don't bother these nice fishermen anymore. Just say thank you!!!". Jack tired to smile. And then Jack started running into the wood. Mark just said: "Goodbye!!!" and ran after Jack.
Then the fishermen started running after them. Mark shouted: "Jack, they know!! Run as fast as you can to rescue your live!!".
But the fishermen managed to catch them. Jack and Mark were prepared for the worst, but something strange happened. Fishermen said: "Why are you running so fast? We just wanted to warn you that some robbers are hiding somewhere in the wood and you'd better don't go!". Then the fishermen showed the path to the road and Mark and Jack just walked away. Jack only smiled to Mark said: "Jack now I know why I'm dealing with you, you are so lucky!!".
