Our generation takes part in the transition of the 20th century into the 21st century. Because of that fact, everyone expects unbelievable changes. I would like to describe my expectations connected with the new century.
I hope that in the 21st century there will be a lot of changes in people lifestyle and all these changes will be better for us. The situation of the poorest will improve. I think that everyone should find their own place to live and lead successful life. There won't be the poverty in the 21st century and there won't be people bagging for money on the streets of our cities.
A lot of changes will follow in our private life. I hope that every one of us will achieve its personal purposes. We will be able to develop our skills and personality. What is more, the further development of technology and sciences will follow and thanks to it many cures for serious diseases such as cancer or HIV will be invented. Modern technology will have a bigger impact on our life. Moreover, the living and working conditions will become better.
I hope that there won't be the discrimination and all war conflicts will be ended. There won't be any other military conflicts. There will be peace and friendship. People will be friendlier to each other.
Our expectations connected with the 21st century seem to be very similar. Apart form our personal wishes, I think that every one of us hope that the new century will be better then the previous one.
