"The Pianist" appeared in the cinemas in 2002. It is my most favorite movie. It was directed by the famous Polish director Roman Polański. Adrien Brody- the great American Actor- played the main role in this film.
The movie tells the story of the life of Władysław Szpilman. The main character of the film was the great and famous pianist. Unfortunately for him, he came from the Jewish family. He happened to live in Poland at the time of the World War II. All his family died in the concentration camps. The pianist was lucky enough to be saved by a friend. He only was taken to work in one of the Work Camps. He met many good people, who helped him survive the war. Szpilman even met one German soldier, who gave him a helpful hand. In the film, we can see him hiding from the persecution. He survived the war and as it ended, he got to know other Jews and started new life.
