The whole United States are terrified of the serial killer, who was called "Buffalo Bill". He skinned all his victims. Jack Crawford - FBI Chief Jack Crawford chose the bright FBI trainee Clarice Starling to get some information from Dr. Hannibal Lecter, who was the imprisoned psychiatrist, about Buffalo Bill's case. She had to find out what his opinion about Buffalo Bill was. But before Lacter decided to tell Clarice about Buffalo Bill, he asked her a lot of questions about her own life. At that time Buffalo Bill unfortunately captured the next victim. The young policewoman had to offer Dr. Lecter a kind of deal. He would be transported to the better prison if he had decided to help the police.
Dr. Lecter asked Clarice some questions about the childhood. She used to live in her uncle's house in a village. Once she tried to escape. She also had the dream concerning the rammed lambs. For many years she had been suffering because she heard this deplorable sheep's bleat all the time. She hoped that if she had become the killers' catcher, this bleat in her head would finish.
As soon as Clarice got the important information and left the prison, Dr. Lecter managed to escape and kill two attendants. Clarice finally succeeded in tracking down Buffalo Bill and killed him. By the end of the movie Hannibal rang Starling.
"Silent of the Lambs'' belongs to the best psychological thrillers ever made. Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins played the leading role and they were magnificent. Anthony Hopkins was Dr. Lecter and he was brilliant in this role, whereas Jodie Foster played this determined agent of FBI. Both of them received Oscars.
The movie seems to be very scary. The charters of Buffalo Bill and Dr. Hannibal Lecter are very thrilling. The movie is completely different and surprising because of its complicated plot and progress of the action. The most frightening part is the part when Hannibal Lecter wearing the policeman's face managed to run away from the building.
