Technological progress of the last few years has been amazing. All the developments of the last century have changed our lives for better. I think that in the next couple of years many new scientific discoveries will be made and new machines will be invented. It is possible that they will replace people in doing the most dangerous and hard work.
I also think that thanks to the genetic engineering the food we eat will become more healthy and tasty. Cloning animals will become widespread so if your pet dies, it will be replaced by its clone brother. Moreover, genetic engineering will make it possible to recreate all the species that became extinct long time ago. Thanks to the advancement in genetic technology, there will be cures for all kinds of diseases, including cancer and AIDS. It is also possible that scientists will invent the elixir of youth therefore people will not live shorter than 150 years. In 2050 all people will live in glass skyscrapers with beautiful gardens on the roofs. All members of the society will be given separate flats and education will not be such a time-consuming process because it will become automatized. There will be special computer programs which will facilitate learning. The most common means of transport will be small rackets powered by solar energy. Work will not be the most important objective of people's life because most of it will be done by computers and machines. People will only have to prepare the designs of the things they want to make. Moreover, in 2050 people will take much more care of the natural environment. There will not be any rubbish because everything will be recycable. Thus, all the things that you throw out will be recycled into new objects in the future .
I think that all the genetic interferences will make human species much weaker and maybe some new dangerous diseases will occur. However, life in 2050, generally, will be much easier and people will feel safe but also bored because they will not need to work. I think I would not like to live so long as to witness all the changes that will take place in the next fifty years.
