Countless citizens believe celebrities to enjoy gorgeous as well as joyful way of life. While watching TV or reading glossy weekly papers they look happy and stress-free. The brutal reality behind the pictures sometimes proves unbelievable.
Actually, the existence of a pop music idol is by no means as simple as it would seem to appear. The celebrities live under everlasting pressure, since they are watched constantly. Wherever they go, a crowd of cameramen and reporters hang around and follow them. Whenever they do just anything eccentric, the press turns it into gossip.
Furthermore, celebrities have nothing granted. They must "break their back to earn a day of leisure", as the Beatles did (and sang) and really, the stress is so large that they are about to collapse. Additionally, they must set aside a lot to follow their vocation, particularly their sweet home.
On the top of everything, they live in constant danger. Brutal competition is an extremely disturbing component of the system in which the artists and producers must find their way to success.
Sport stars are also forced to exist in a complex arrangement. They must practice more than any other people of success and with extra care. Their busy existence is a series of short breaks between preparation and actual combat. Besides, their meals are never what they would like but what they must have and the same concerns their work and leisure time. Their trainer is their master and they are modern gladiators. Frequently they are not allowed to get married or have any spouse at all. All that is expected from them is the best result.
