My answer:
Dear Ceri,
I am very pleased to answer your letter because I love sport too!
Since it is your ambition and you want to be a top athlete, you should practice sport too much!
You shouldn't smoke cigarettes, drink an alcohol and take drugs, because it's very harmful for your health and all your body, so after smoking, drinking alcohol or taking drugs you won't be enough fit. You should go on diet. Don't eat too much fat and sweeties. You should eat more vegetables and fruits, and also drink a lot of water. Don't believe to people who want to advertise any "helpful" drinks. Really they are more harmful. Just nourish healthfully!
You should also get up early to practice jogging for example. If you have more free time, don't spend it in front of screen - go to play football or other sport you like!
And of course remember about common sense! You can't forget about school and yours duties.
