"The Hi - Way" is the first film of Jacek Borusiński. This is a comedy with no beginning and no ending. It is just a ride along the road, which may be more amuzing than you can imagine.
Set in present reality, the film tells the story of two men who want to make a film. The director - Jaco (Jacek Borusiński) and the cameramen - Pablo (Dariusz Basiński) are going to make an interview with boring businessman. Their shared way to the house of Andrew - the bisinessman - help them to know each other better. They are dreaming about their future screenplays, roles, characters, costumes, special effects, etc. All scenes are changing like the views through the window of the car.
The characters are completely belivable and the dialogues are witty and natural. A particular strengh of the film was the fiction and reality mixed together. After some time you cannot be sure if you are watching real action or just a daydreaming of the main actors. I found the plot completely absurd but this is the whole sense of the movie.
I would definitely recommend seeing "The Hi - Way". For all those who enjoy bizzare action, daydreaming and have a great sense of humor, this movie in not to be missed.
