As a child I wanted to be famous. I dreamt of having a lot of fans and being admired by other people. Now I know that fame doesn't only mean the pleasure, but it is hard and unrewarding work. I think that many people dream of fame and they really want to achieve something in their lives. They desire to be beautiful, rich and famous.
Thanks to fame you can achieve a lot of great things: wealth and respect. You can buy a huge house you are dreaming of, arrange the trip around the world and every one will love you and admire. If you succeed and you are lucky, you will never worry about money. You will have them enough to cover all your expenses. You will have your own driver, a beautiful house and a private yacht. You will lead the eventful social life meet other celebrities and politics. There won't be any impossible things, because you are so famous!
It seems to be great, but fame doesn't mean only the glory and carefreeness. At first, you will lose your privacy. You will be surrounded by journalists, photographers and paparazzi. They all want to know everything about you. Tabloids will publish details about your private life and they will look for rumours. You will be stressed and will spend a lot of money on your security and bodyguards. You won't feel safe and you will start going mad!
The great number of fans seems to be very satisfactory, but will have to fulfil all their demands. You will deal with the criticism and you won't disappoint your fans, because they love you! You will have to pay attention on everything you do and say, because the rivals and journalists may make use of these. You will be especially exposed to hazard, alcohol and drugs. Some celebrities are too weak to cope with problems and they finish their careers tragically.
It is very difficult to achieve fame and it is very easy to lose it. There were a lot of music stars who were popular for some time and then they weren't heard any more. You can't be sure what people want and how they react on your new image. One day your new track may appear a complete disaster. The downfall may be very painful. Then you probably won't be again in the spotlight.
Today I don't want to become a super star any more. I want to lead my simple life and be happy. I know that sometimes is better to be a common man. I like admiring all these famous celebrities and reading gossips in the newspapers. And this is enough for me…
