At the beginning I would like to think, what does the sentence means? While we are about it, I must be admitted that there is a report abroad that a real man never cries. Above all, I must take into account who we called a real man. I think that man must have a hard character. To be accurate a hard character means to drive at the aim, to face the music, to be in favour with everyone, to finish everything, to try his fortune, to be full of beans, to go on, to keep his head, to be sincere, to be on the job. However, the characters I mentioned above may be a matter of argument. I am not sure whether that man will be finding. For all I care I think there are no men who have these characters. They may have only some of them, but almost never, it happens that men are completely hard. For all that, I suppose it is not true that men never cry. In addition, I would like to add men sometimes cry. For example, there has been my mother's birthday lately. There was our family at the party. Suddenly a quarrel burst between two brothers, my mother's cousins. They began to bandy words. Off the bat, the older brother got up and went. Nevertheless, I wanted to say when he went out he began to cry. Is he not a real man? No, he is a man, a real man. He has a family, and even the granddaughter. He has a hard life, because bad lucks did not omit him. I saw very often my father cried because of different reasons; but he cried; he even did not try to hide tears. We are apt to forget that men are only men, feel the same as women. It is not only women's attribute to cry. When people are down, they cry; and there is no difference whether it is a man or a woman. However, far and near everybody says, especially to the little boys that they ought not to cry because a real man never cries. Parents say their sons they should not make a fool of crying. They should go by rules. In addition, the rule is that a man never cries. They should not go wrong, they ought to be good at every thing, and always have to be on their guard. They should always repay in kind, but never see red. The real men have to stand out, and always be on time. When the young man used to be polite, handsome, and wise, he will be the same in his future life. In views of that little boys are bring up of the hard father's hand. In a way, it is good, but not always. Maybe why bit by bit this real man never cries. Fathers did their best to bring up their sons for real men. They think they do for the best.
For all I know there are no men who never cry, and these who claim they never cry, for sure cry in hiding. Therefore, it is said that a real man never cries.
