Every one is an architect of his own life.
Many Polish people complain about everything. They aren't satisfied with their lives, jobs and living conditions. It is said that everything is unjustly. On the other hand, there is a small percentage of people who are happy, satisfied and successes-oriented. I think that every one can change a lot in his own life. Everybody can be an architect of his own life. We should think more positive and look at bright sight of everything. We shouldn't be so critical. If we want and try, we can change a lot of things in our life. We should educate and develop our own skills to achieve something. Thanks to the good education we will be able to get a better job and earn more. We should plan our future and pursue our goals. What is more, we can't forget about further education and develop our abilities and skills.
The protection of the natural environment.
Today the one of the most serious problem is the protection of natural environment. Our natural environment is badly polluted. Many Polish rivers are contaminated and the water is too dirty to bath and drink and often it can't be even used to wash or cool the systems in factories. What is more, the pollution of the air in big cities is raising a big problem. In such areas as Silesia, Łódź or Cracow there is smog and fumes form factories and cars pollute the air. Some of us blame the communist rules for that situation. It is said that their short-sighted policy caused ecological damages. The other problem is the number of rubbish we produce everyday. Such rubbish as paper, cans, glass and plastic bottles should be segregated and recycled. We also should save our natural resources such as wood and clean water. We should take care of our natural environment, because in this way we can make our world cleaner and healthier place to live people.
The mistakes should be avoided when we become parents.
Parents should be the most important people in children lives. They are the patterns for the children. At first, parents should be patient and try to avoid yelling at children. It isn't a very effective method of bringing up the children. Instead of yelling we should explain our children what is wrong. What is more, we should avoid corporal punishments. I think that we should be friends for the children and we should offer them advice and help. Children should feel that always can count on parents' helpful hand. The atmosphere between the children and their parents should be friendlier, but children should respect their parents. Sometimes parents put a lot of pressure on children and they have too many expectations to their children. Parents often impose their willing on the children and they are too demanding. They should take care of the children and support them all the time. The most important in growing up the children is the understanding and love.
Home duties
Nowadays all home duties are divided between wives and husbands. Today men are used to clean, to wash up, to cook and to bring up the children. There are a lot of men who aren't ashamed of fulfilling home duties. Today women don't have to work at home, men often replace them. Moreover, modern women take up some jobs, which used to be considered as typical male, for example: pilots, drivers, police officers. They also work as hard as men. The time when women worked as baby sitters has just gone. Today there is the equality of rights and every one can take up the job whatever she/he wants.
Is the world a global village?
Today many of us use the Internet as a communication tool to be in touch with other people all over the world. The world is getting smaller and often it is called a global village. By means of the Internet or telephone we are able to communicate with our friends form different part of the world with ease. Thanks to TV we are familiar with everything what is happening in the country and abroad. We are informed about wars, every cultural event, catastrophes and accidents. Thanks to this huge development of all transport means such as cars and planes, we can easily move wherever we want and visit every part of the world. English is an international language in which we can easily communicate. All these inventions make our lives easier.
