Dreams are a group of related thoughts, images, or feelings we experience when we are sleeping. Many experts think that dreams may be secret messages designated to ourselves.

The value of dreams can be essential during the psychological treatment. When you are asleep many different processes are taking place. Even when we sleep, a part of our mind is still working. This part is unconscious. It sorts out your experiences you have experienced during the day. A lot of information and details which you may not even notice, but they are collected in our minds. The part of our brain is still awake and it sends messages to this unconscious one. The unconscious part arranges the massages in way which is logical for it. The conscious part of mind sometimes can't understand it. So we can call dreams "secret messages to our selves", because they are a key to understand our hidden personality.

Thomas Edison, who invented the electric light bulb, repeated that his best ideas had come to him during the sleep. Albert Einstein thought in the same way. Charlotte Brontë, the English novelist, said that she had got the inspiration from her dreams. This helped her in writing "Jane Eyre". The composer, Igor Stravinsky, thought that the only way to compose a great work is "to sleep on them".
