There are some forms of dishonesty at working place. Not only there are dishonest employees, but also some employers may be dishonest. The most recent form of employers' dishonesty is mobbing. Sometimes the mangers are used to bother and tease the subordinates. The victims are often humiliated, which may have an impact on their psyche. Sometimes the employees pay their employers less money than they should earn or pay them with the delay.

Public officers often take bribes to arrange same matters quicker. Policemen often accept the bribes instead of giving tickets. Some mangers and employees may be dishonest. Sometimes they steal some goods from the company or abuse their positions. They often make private phone calls by using company's telephone or use the company's equipment for their own purposes such as Xerox machine. This is a kind of fraud on a small scale.

Sometimes we can hear in the news huge cases about misappropriating great amounts of money. Recently the manager of TP SA in Piła stole a lot of money from his company. He invested a big sum in investments that had never existed. By these fiction investments TP SA lost the huge amount of 600 thousands zloty.

A popular form of dishonesty is plagiarism. It usually takes place in marketing and publishing. If someone used the author's works without his assent, the one can be punished. Often the journalists misrepresent the facts, which is wrong.

Why do people commit such frauds? There are some reasons for that. Mangers may be guided by willing of huge financial benefits. The employees don't earn a lot, so they want to "get a second job". They believe that the small frauds won't be detected.

Sometimes employees are disloyal and sell some important information competitors. The employees may be bribed by the competition. It may cause huge losses in the company.

In my opinion, every form of fraud should be punished. The bigger fraud is, the stricter punishment should be. The fraud may be extremely harmful for state companies, which are usually poorer than the private ones.
