We all know that there are many interesting places to visit all around the world. The City I live in, Kielce, is perhaps not as interesting as Paris or London- there are no famous museums or fabulous monuments. But still, I think that there are many places to visit and to entertain there. In Kielce we have the National Museum. There are many interesting temporary exhibitions. Whenever you go there, you may see something new. There are also exhibits that are there always.
In the National Museum in Kielce, there are many different departments- decorative arts, numismatics, history, painting and sculpture, militarily, folk arts, denotative arts, and graphic arts. There is also the Gallery of Polish Painting. You can admire some of the paintings of famous Polish painters there. Whether you prefer the paintings from the seventeenth century, or contemporary you will certainly find the museum interesting. It doesn't really matter if you know much about the history of art. If you don't, people working in the museum may tell you interesting details about each painting. I visit the museum frequently and really enjoy it.
In my opinion, you can have real fun visiting this museum. Many people, interested in various kinds of arts may find there something special for themselves. It is a little bit crowded usually, nevertheless it is certainly worth visiting.
Even if Kielce is not the most interesting city in the world, I find it really exciting.
