As a six-year-old boy I became a student of a sport school. I took courses in swimming for six years there. At the end of the school, in the sixth year, all of the students were supposed to take an exam in swimming. It was a very important exam. When someone passed it, he was given special certificate. We all wanted to have such certificate, so we were preparing to this exam working very hard.
The day of the exam was really sunny. It was May and it was really warm, so I decided to take a walk to the swimming pool. As I got there, all my friends were waiting. They were really stressed and anxious. We went inside, changed the clothes into swimming suits and exercised a bit. There arrived many people as the audience. My parents were already there. He had a camera with him, to take some pictures. I was so nervous, that I could hardly breathe. When my name was announced, I stood up and I jumped into the water. As I was swimming, I tried to be fully concentrated, but I could hear all people clapping their hands. I proved to be a good swimmer and I managed to get the certificate. I was so proud of myself. I knew that I worked hard and that I deserved the reward.
