I like all kinds of dogs very much but there is one race that I like most. It is a dachshund. I have a dachshund, he is called Max. Dachshunds are very lovely animals. They like playing and clever. He understands what I talk to him. An average dachshunds weighs 7-14 kg and it is 17 to 25 cm tall. They are longer than taller. They live for 12 years. There are three kinds of dachshunds: dachshunds with long hair, smooth hair and wired hair. There are also miniature dachshunds. The owner must teach them to obey the commands. If he or she does not do that, the dog will want to rule. They like eating but they should not eat too much because they easily become very fat. Because they are short they should not jump too much - it may hurt them. They like walking but the distance should not be too long. They are very popular in Poland.
