I like animated comedies very much and I have seen many of them. However, there is one that I believe is the best. It is "Shrek". The directors of the film are Andrew Adamson and Victoria Jenson. The film is animation so there are no actors. The people who are the voice of the characters are: Zbigniew Zamachowski as Shrek, Jerzy Stuhr as the donkey, Agnieszka Kunikowska as the princess Fiona and Adam Ferency as Lord Farquar.
The movie tells a story of a big, green ogre Shrek. He lived far, far away on a swamp. He was very ugly and smelled bad. He washed himself in mud, ate worms. He liked loneliness and scared all people who entered his territory. However, he lived a peaceful life. However, his loneliness did not last for a long time. One day a large group of characters from various fairy tales came to his house. One of the characters was a donkey that did not stop to talk. They had to leave their homes because of the lord Farquar who removed them from his kingdom. Shrek went to his castle to learn why it happened because he was very unhappy about the crowd near his house. Lord Farquar sent Shrek on a quest: he had to rescue Princess Fiona from a dragon. He went to look for her and took the donkey with him. They had many adventures. The dragon felt in love with the donkey. Shrek saved the princess but also felt in love with her. It turned out that Fiona was also an ogre. In the end they returned to the house on the swamp and lived together.
The authors of the music are John Powell and Harry Gregson Williams. The movie has excellent animations of the characters. They behave very naturally and the world is rich in details. They animations were created by Holy Grails of CG Animation.
The movie is really wonderful. It is very funny and everybody will lough when watching it. I recommed it to everybody, from children to grandparents.
