The movie that I like best is a film by Michael Bay "Armageddon". It is a science fiction film and its action takes place in space and in laboratory of NASA. The movie tells a story of a huge asteroid that is on collision course with earth. The scientists who work in the laboratory of NASA learn about it. The asteroid flies very fast and soon it will hit Earth. If it do it, it will destroy the planet. However, it is still possible to stop it: space shuttle must travel to this asteroid and land there. The crew of the shuttle will dig holes in the asteroid and put explosives inside. The explosion will destroy this huge rock. There is only one specialist who can do it: it is Harry Stamper played by Bruce Willis. He has to go on this mission in order to save Earth. He and his friends succeeded and destroyed the asteroid but the main character had to sacrifice himself and died. The play of the actors is great and the movie is full of action and good special effects. The scenes in space and on the asteroid are very realistic. It is a marvellous movie and I recommend it to everybody. It is not played in cinemas but you can borrow a cassette with it.
