I have a very big family. They come from many different families. My grandmother had to emigrate from Poland when she was young because of political reasons. Then she worked as a stewardess in American Airlines and she visited many countries in the world. One day she received a telephone from work. It was her friend. He told her that he could not fly because he was sick. My grandmother had to replace him and went on an airplane going to China. The flight took few hours but finally they reached their destination. There was some time before the airplane had to fly back to the USA and the crew had a free time. My grandmother went to a restaurant and sat on a free table. She was eating and drinking when suddenly a handsome man came to her table. He wanted to dance with her. My grandmother agreed and soon they were dancing. She asked: "where do you come from?" The man answered that she came from Poland. My grandmother was very happy that in such an exotic country she met a Pole. They did not dance long because she had to go on a plane. It turned out that the man was flying the same airplane. They talked and met in the USA. Finally they felt in love and got married. They were a happy couple and lived together for a very long time. My grandmother had many children and one of them was my mother. This was a history of my family I know from stories. Nowadays I live with my parents: mother and father, my grandparents and siblings. I have a brother. My father works in a large company and he is a manager. My mother is a teacher in the primary school and she teaches mathematics. My brother is younger than me and now he learns in a primary school but not the same in which my mother works. My grandmother is now seventy years old and takes care of our house. My father has a brother who also has a family. He has two children: a girl and a boy. They are at the same age as I am. We often meet and play together because they live not far from us. However, they learn in a different school. My uncle is a teacher as my mom is but he works in a secondary school. His wife is a nurse in the local hospital. We are a loving family and we keep together. There are no big quarrels among us. My grandmother is the head of the family and she makes all decisions. We all love her very much. She knows everything about the history of the family and she often tells us about it.
