It was in the summer. It was very hot and sunny. Suddenly I received a phone from my friend Ewa. She was scared. She tried to tell me that somebody in her neighbourhood died. I took my bike immediately and rode to her house. In front of her house I saw a man. He lied on the pavement and was dead. He was killed by the knife.
I knew the victim. His name was Jan Wiśniewski. He lived in a house next to Ewa's house and he did not have any family. He was tall and had long, dark hair. He was always sitting in his house. Soon the police came to the place of the crime. The police officer took Ewa and they went to the car. He asked her many questions because she could be a murderer.
The next suspect was Jan Z. who also lived next to the house of the Jan Wiśniewski. He had a wife and 2 kids. His wife was at work at the moment. The husband was all alone in the house because children were at school. He said that he did not like Wiśniewski very much because he never left his home. It was the only reason for not liking him because Jan Z. did not know the victim very well.
There were 2 other suspects: small family without children, Mr. and Mrs. Zielinski. They also lived in a house very near the house of Wiśniewski. They thought that he was a good man. They talked with him once when he wanted to borrow something: a screw. He returned the thing after short time. They had no reason not to like him.
The police officer entered the house of Wiśniewski and found a screw on the floor. There was somebody's blood on it. It turned out that it was the blood of Wiśniewski and one of his neighbours. After looking at the body and the screw the police officer realise that Wiśniewski was killed with the screw.
