Being a teenager is not very easy nowadays. There are many difficult situationes happening and young people must be prepared to say "no". Unfortunately it is not easy especially if saying "no" means reject by the peers. In such situationes the help of parents is needed. Teenagers should have a big support and trust in their families because it is much easier to face the difficulties then. We also should be aware that teenagers have got very strong need of belonging to a group where he or she will find the approval of oneself.

It is widely known that some kind of groups may have very bad influence on people's life. The most endangered are teenagers as they want to be a member of some society. They are also less experienced and they are much more impressionable. The worst thing is that we are not learned how to say "no" when we don't want to do something. We should teach teenagers to be assertive. For example if somebody offers you a cigarette and you don't smoke you should learn how to say - "no, thank you. I don't smoke". It is not that easy how it seems to be. We should practise it all the time. The questions about smoking are not very scary, but what if somebody will offer you a drugs, would you say "no"?
