My favourite season is spring - the time of renewal and of new life. It's wonderful when cold winter days are finally over. You wake up in the morning and it's no longer dark outside. Snow begins to melt and the first delicate buds appear on the trees and bushes, and then most plants start blooming. Air is fresh and warm. Days are getting longer and it's possible to spend more time outside. It's no longer necessary to wear warm clothes. You may walk or cycle and admire the world which seems young once again. Birds sing, especially in the morning and in the evening. I like it even when it rains because after the rain every plant grows faster and every piece of land becomes green.
Spring always influences human behaviour. The whole nature is once again coming back to life - and we, who are a part of the nature, also feel stronger, happier and more energetic. Since the Middle Ages, spring (especially May) has been associated with love. We don't spend afternoons at home, but outside, in the company of our friends. We make new friendships and we often fall in love.
Unfortunately, for students spring means also intensive studies, as it's necessary to gain better marks before the end of the school year which is slowly approaching. It's very difficult to sit in a class and pay attention to learning when it's so lovely outside and when we hear voices of children playing in the streets.
